Using AI tools, I created these images to imagine what a free North Korea might look like—vibrant democratic campaigns, joyful communities, and a sense of hope that has long been out of reach for one of the most closed societies in the world. Such images serve not only as a visual exploration of a brighter future but also as an invitation to ponder the profound impact that freedom can have on individuals and society as a whole.

While AI is often celebrated for boosting productivity and creativity, it can also help us visualize the futures we’re striving toward. The technology enables us to break down the barriers of imagination and creativity, allowing us to see a world that is markedly different from our current reality. These images are more than artistic renderings—they’re a reminder of what’s possible when we stay committed to the cause of freedom and human dignity.
